Finances

Palau Mission Academy operates as a nonprofit institution and relies on regular tuition payments for the majority of its daily operations and expenses. Acceptance to Palau Mission Academy is granted and continued to those families demonstrating financial responsibility to the school. The following policies govern all applying students.

Resident/Non-Resident Fees

Two categories of tuition will be assessed to all students attending Palau Mission Academy. A resident fee is for student who holds Palauan passport, while Non-Resident fee is for students who do not hold Palauan passport. Please refer to the subsections Entrance Fee and Tuition Payment Schedule for detail tuition information.

Early and Late Registration Fee    

Early registration is from January to March which parents/guardians would pay $150.00 fee. Registration is from April to May, a $200.00 fee is required of all students to complete registration. For late registration is June and onwards, parents/guardians will have to pay the office a fee of $250.00.

Entrance Fee

During registration the following entrance fee must be paid:

Tuition Payment Schedule

Once the entrance fee has been cleared, every beginning of each month (September through April) a monthly tuition charge is credited to each student account. Tuition for the current month is due on the 10th of each month. Monthly tuition per student is as follows:

  • Kindergarten: Resident – $75.00; Non-Resident – $85.00
  • 1 st  – 8 th  Grades: Resident – $150.00; Non-Resident – $175.00

In summary total Registration and Tuition Fees per school year per student is:

  • Kindergarten: Resident – $750.00; Non-Resident – $850.00
  • 1 st  – 8 th  Grades: Resident – $1,500.00; Non-Resident – $1,750.00

Yearly Fees

Early Registration plus ten (10) months of tuition

  • Kindergarten: Resident – $900.00; Non-Resident – $1,000.00
  • 1st – 8th Grades: Resident – $1,650.00; Non-Resident – $1,900.00

Registration plus ten (10) months of tuition

  • Kindergarten: Resident – $950.00; Non-Resident – $1,050.00
  • 1st – 8th Grades: Resident – $1,700.00; Non-Resident – $1,950.00

Late Registration plus ten (10) months of tuition

  • Kindergarten: Resident – $1,000.00; Non-Resident – $1,100.00
  • 1st – 8th Grades: Resident – $1,750.00; Non-Resident – $2,000.00

NOTE: Registration Fee is Non-refundable

  • August 2025 and May 2026 Tuition is due before the first business day of August 2025
  • A discount of 50% is applicable to the third and all subsequent children either biological or legally adopted that are enrolled at the same time.
  • A $20.00 discount is applicable to anyone when tuition is paid in full for the complete school year before September 15th.
